August Wilson's Seven Guitars Toledo Theatre reviews
Bull RIding
It is always interesting to learn how people entertain themselves. Many years ago, I also went with my son to see the big trucks competition. I think I enjoyed that more. I like to go to museums, off and on Broadway shows, and films.
The kids riding the sheep were very cute. I don't know anything about the sport. It is amazing how much money these guys can make. No, I was not going to pay another $10 besides the tickets, $9, and $4.50. I would have appreciated a playbill explaining how 8 seconds went to 172.00 average. However, I would have paid $1 to get the rules of the sport.
The singer and group were lousy singing Gershwin—they made no sense.
We were sitting in 337 area and the audio was awful, muffled. So where we were, we missed a lot of the show because we could not understand what was being said. We walked down to the more expensive seats and the sound was good. (I will never forget August Wilson's Seven Guitars show.)
